Silk Way West Airlines (SWW) a Baku, Azerbaijan-based dedicated cargo carrier, has begun weekly scheduled service to and from the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport (DFW).
SWW provides service to nearly every continent with key destinations in Kazakhstan and throughout Eurasia; the Middle East to include Iraq, Dubai, and Tel Aviv; the Far East with service to Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai, and Tokyo; and so much more.
SWW also has a strong tradition of public service, being one of the key airlines moving COVID medical supplies and vaccines throughout the world during the pandemic.
Silk Way West’s US-bound fleet consists exclusively of B747 aircraft, with a carrying capacity of 112,000 kg. The fleet can also accommodate virtually all out-of-gauge and oversized freight types. SWW’s expansion into DFW greatly expands our US presence, adding to the current three times weekly flights out of Chicago.
Global Feeder Services – Great flexibility to meet your shipping needs
In the US, Silk Way West is represented by its general sales agent, Global Feeder Services (GFS). GFS has numerous years of experience working with Silk Way West to provide top value and flexible solutions for our customers.
In contrast to many “transactional” freight airlines, GFS builds positive long-term customer relationships by consistently going the extra mile to meet customer needs, and quickly responding to inquiries and the occasional shipping issue, all at the best rates in industry.
For scheduled shipping services, GFS/SWW provides four flights per week from the US, including weekly service to/from DFW.
As the new DFW route is building, GFS can offer weekly load availability to support even last-minute shipping needs. We have experience with out-of-gauge and oversized shipments, temperature controlled and sensitive as well as dangerous goods. For larger shipments, GFS has extensive experience arranging charter flights, currently averaging one charter to the US per day.
Through strategic interline agreements, GFS can route your shipment virtually anywhere in the world.
